The story
The Creator and the Man
Two albums, two halves of one story. Both end at the same place: the choice belongs to people, not machines.
One Source
The Creator
Humanity came from one source. Now it has created something of its own, a machine made from everything people ever wrote, sang and learned. Who receives the time it saves? Who inherits the wealth? The pattern is older than any machine. The machine only makes it faster.
- 01
The Last Invention
A machine performs in seconds what took people years to learn, and the room applauds. By the exit, a man packs his desk into a box.
- 02
One Source
People who share one origin still divide and fight. A dying stranger’s grip teaches kinship no border can.
- 03
Don’t Blame the Mirror
The machine stands trial. It never asked for the throne. Then it turns the question back: which side are you on?
Still My Choice
The Man
One Source ends with a question for humanity. Still My Choice answers it at the smallest scale: one person, one voice in his ear, one decision at a time.
- 01
Still My Choice
At the party he laughs with everyone. Beside him, a man in a black coat with his face whispers where it hurts.
- 02
More Bricks in the Wall
Strangers write to him: I know that feeling. A song can belong to others without being taken from him.
- 03
Built from Pressure
He looks back at the boy who survived with what little he knew, and replaces contempt with tenderness.
- 04
Can’t Slow Me Down
Momentum, influence, a crowd calling his name. He postpones the questions that might slow him.
- 05
The Room You Left
He comes home and the coat by the door is gone. Out of habit, he pours two glasses.
- 06
Who Stayed?
He counts who disappeared, then who he himself abandoned. He writes the letter he owes.
- 07
Freedom of Thoughts
He stops winning imaginary arguments and gets his mornings back.
- 08
Pray for Me
In a dark stairwell, nobody asks him for a speech. Someone asks him to hold a light.
- 09
Virtues
He names what he stands for, and admits he can’t promise clean hands, only to keep looking at them.
- 10
Still My Voice
Two in the morning, no one answers. A calm voice asks only questions. It was his own.
- 11
More Than I Knew
He stops auditioning for his own life.
- 12
Trigger Trap
An old wound is touched at a table. The voice returns. The next words are his to choose.
Track 01
The voice of fear talks like him.
Track 10
A calmer voice only asks questions. It was his own.
Track 12
At the table, the next words are his to choose.
Still my life. Still my choice. Still my voice.
Human. Creator. Machine.
Made with the machine. Asking what it means.
Benjamin creates his music with the help of AI, says so openly, and uses that music to question AI directly.
He is not standing outside the future. He stands inside it and asks the questions out loud: when a machine can do in seconds what people spent years learning, who is protected, and who is left behind?
We come from one source. Different faces, same light. The future isn’t written yet.
